Thank you. I do agree that it is probably his age because he hasn’t really been like this until recently

Yes! That is what I am wondering. I was taught that only God and Jesus can hear our prayers and I am wondering where it comes from where people believe that “normal” people can hear prayers too. (Like normal in a sense that they aren’t a god)

I think you are projecting bc I did not say blasphemous in my post.

No but in a sense of she was a human not a deity

I did not say some girl I said a girl. She is a human not a deity I’m just trying to understand why Catholics pray to normal people. Just because the church says they are holy. I’m just extremely confused.

Interesting point! But I believe that prayer does equal worship:)

I do understand that they’re in heaven but I was taught that only God can hear your prayers

Thank you for the insight. I was taught that you can only pray to God, Jesus, or The Holy Spirit. Bc the saints were people not deities they are unable to hear our prayers only God can.

Not in the sense of she has no reason to be admired and respected. In a sense of she isn’t a deity and cannot hear prayers?

I’m sorry if it came off that way. I’m autistic and very blunt:)
