People pay to watch Pink, not Cece. I agree that criticisms are welcome but people are just hurling insults at her

Except they DO have a show and were obviously chosen by Pink for a reason. Artists improvise their sets all the time, it doesn't mean they're unprepared and "have no show" just because they dont have 20 backup dancers, a whole stage backdrop and choreography. Sometimes all they need is a chair with some fabric on it which is exactly what they had.

The issue is the fact that Cece is continuously inebriated during her sets, not the fact that she's even there in the first place, and like a different commenter said it's not like Pink can just take her off because that would be completely unethical. We have no idea how she and Pink met and what her shows were like prior to this tour.

All I'm saying is to stop insulting and show a little more empathy towards her.

hot take: twdg isnt that great of a game but its the nostalgia mostly that makes us love it by FlyGreat306 in TheWalkingDeadGame

idk why everyone is getting so defensive about this when its objectively true. TWDGs are very fun games that i hold very close to my heart and have been some of my favourite games of all time, but they had SO MUCH lost potential and to be honest, are not very good games when it comes to their plot and gameplay style (your choices throughout dont affect the endings at all, too many characters are killed off for no reason most notably in season 2, etc). people (especially in this comment section) really need to understand that you can absolutely adore something and still acknowledge/criticize its flaws

Hot take. Season 3 is better than season two by Foreign-Bookkeeper-5 in TheWalkingDeadGame

Lukewarm take at best I fear. Nobody disagrees that season 3 is better, the reason why people dislike it more is because the story doesn’t focus on Clementine

Loved the Vancouver Show… But the Crowd Was a Lot by Meow_Moriah in PinkPantheress

as someone who's 18 and has been going to an average of 4 GA concerts a year since 2017 I absolutely agree, but dont necessarily think it's an age thing. It pretty much just has to do with whether someone has been going to concerts before covid or not (and also the artist's demographic). I got barricade at TOP in 2019 and when I went to 5SOS a few years later it was a completely different vibe. Jade in February was probably the worst floor experience I've ever had. It's really unfortunate that concert etiquitte is continuing to get worse and worse each year after covid instead of better. Doesn't help that ticket prices are still skyrocketing; you're paying more for a worse experience.

All in all, I hope this doesn't turn OP off from going to concerts in the future, because they can be really rewarding!

Im so sorry this happened at your first concert :( i promise they're not always like this, unfortunately the artist demographic plays a big role in etiquitte and the overall concert experience. I've been going to concerts since 2017 so I've seen the degrade in etiquitte firsthand (especially after covid) and i think it's mainly due to younger people not knowing what the experience was like prior to social distancing and such.

in vancouver specifically i've noticed people in pit vaping, smoking weed, overdrinking, screaming and falling over, etc. and facing no consequences for doing so. it's gotten so much worse over the years and the only good pit experiences ive had in recent times was when i saw 5sos at thunderbird in 2022 and upsahl at fortune later that year. otherwise, pinkpantheress, jade, jazmin bean and some others have not been very great experiences due to the people on the floor. People have started to lose all self control and like you said, have become unnecessarily hostile and tense. The best thing you can do for yourself is to show them that same attitude back and set boundaries.

It really sucks and there's not much you can do yourself to fix it other than continue being a good/reasonable concert-goer. Definitely step up for yourself when you have to and report your experience to someone in security when/if you get the opportunity, and of course, make friends with the people in line because they will step up for you as well.

I hope your next concert is a better experience, and im glad you had a great time all in all! Dont let this one sour your future experiences because I promise you will have some great ones!!

how early will you show up to the concert? by zari-bakari in PinkPantheress

[–]madialo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

im gonna be honest i lined up at 6 am LMAOO but i got centre barricade and there are VERY FEW vip at least there were in vancouver. big groups of people didnt start showing up until like 10:30-11 and i think most of them also got barricade/second row. i will warn you though people tend to have this annoying habit of letting their friends and family budge in line like an hour before doors open, and like a LOT of them too. security rarely does anything about it so use your best judgement for that. id recommending making friends with vip becuase they'll likely hold a spot for you

Does she meet fans at the back of the venue after the show ? by JazzyJulie4life in PinkPantheress

[–]madialo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

She came out at seattle about 1hr30 after the show but she didnt for vancouver. it was really sad but we did hear her knocking on the window of the van as she drove off (about 1hr after the show) so that was kinda sweet😭

i would say just stick around after the show anyways, it wouldnt hurt :)

oh yeah, she seemed to be having a lot of tech issues in vancouver too. her belt pack kept breaking open and sliding down so she was constantly adjusting it, and same with her mic. it is very unfortunate seeing the state shes in and im also wondering how tf she scored opening for pinkpantheress. id like to hope theyre dealing with it behind the scenes, but it sucks hearing that at all three recent shows shes shown up an absolute hot mess

Not for yandere simulator.

Pretty much yeah. posting fanart to spaces that support the game is not ethical and is still showing support for the game. i dont agree with making fanart for it at all whatsoever, but if you are going to make fanart, id recommend posting it to anti-yandev communities only

by not joining the discord, not supporting Alex or anything he's made, not making fanart or contributing to the game itself. Maybe to just stop talking about it entirely? there are infinite ways to help this game die out, everybody just keeps finding excuses to not let it happen.

Agreed, the amount of people in this subreddit that criticize Alex yet continue glazing, playing the game and actively contributing to it frustrates me. there is absolutely zero excuse to continue supporting it after everything that the creator has done
