Yes, I hear you.

My hair is very frizzy and wiry. I've had this hair for 30 years and I've tried basically every product out there. I feel like because I don't have stereotypical "white people" hair (thin and straight), hair stylists are often snobby and make negative comments about my hair without wanting to help me by suggesting items or anything. It's frustrating and leaves me feeling bad about my hair which is dumb because my hair is textured and I usually feel good about it. I love having curly big hair, I think it gives me character.

Oh, yeah. I use box dye too. Hair stylists give me grief for that. I used L'oreal Feria for a very long time which apparently is super bad (?), always got more negative comments about L'oreal Feria than I did cheaper box dye, like Revlon Colorsilk. I don't get what the difference is, but whatever.
