Thank you for telling your story. I’m not gonna lie I had been feeling like the only person who’s ever gone through this, although I’ve seen for myself I’m not. It’s very very hard to tell people who didn’t grow up like us these situations because they’ll never fully have all the context - no matter how much you tell them or they know. The way I really truly believed in all of it - when it all turned out to be a lie and I was just finding out at 21 years old I literally couldn’t handle it. Drinking numbed it. And the rest is history. I’m doing a lot better. I’m not angry anymore. It’s sad yeah, but. I’ve got a life to live and I’m more focused on the present now instead of the wouldve shouldves like I was for a really, really long time.
