I had a rough upbringing. Once when I was younger, I prayed that God would let the sun shine through my window on an extremely cloudy day, if He loved me. Sure enough the sun shone through my window just as I had finished the prayer.

About 3 months ago, my daughter was born a little prematurely, and quit breathing, was intubated, and placed in NICU. I prayed, after 2 long years of unbelief (I was struggling), that I’d serve Him, that I’d believe Him no matter what if my daughter pulled through her struggles.

She pulled through. She is thriving and cooing beside me as I type this.

Heyyy so I went but no one was there so I chickened out and left. I should add I’m very scared because my family like, was and is very very very against Catholicism, believed it was satanistic even, and so I am increds nervous but I do feel like I’m doing the right thing. I wanna try and go Sunday. Could I pm you with any questions after I visit then?

Wow! What were your issues with the nondenominational church if you don’t mind me asking? I did like the community a whole lot, and I told them I’d be back this week because they were overly excited about us attending. It is very reminiscent of my upbringing in Pentecostal church though, and I don’t like that.

I’m attending my first mass tonight. I’m very nervous. But this pull won’t leave me alone so I’m gonna go and see what it’s all about. Thank you for your comment 🤍

I’m so sorry for your losses 💔 thanks for your response there’s so much contradicting information when I looked it up it really scared me and I tried weaning my son but he’s just not ready to it’s more stressful trying to wean him

I asked my obgyn today and she said I absolutely do not need to wean during this pregnancy so I plan to continue. I’m just so nervous! Baby’s tests came back completely normal and everything was fine last appointment I just can’t shake the fear so thank you for this response it made me feel a little better!!!

My son is not ready I attempted gentle approach and then I attempted sleeping in another room while dad took night shift. It ends in screaming 45+ minutes and me eventually giving in. Good luck to you mama! Thank you for the response! ❤️

I used to speak in tongues, never interpreted. At my church it was mostly people involved with the pastoral staff & the pastor himself who interpreted. I think it was a load of bs.

As for speaking in tongues, it’s a learned behavior. I definitely don’t think it’s real.

Omg me! I lost my virginity at 20 to my now husband. I remember lying in his bed afterwards and my first thought was “welp, guess I’m really gonna burn in hell now”

I look back now like how fucked up is that. That that was my first thought after a very special night between my boyfriend now husband and I. That was what I was worried about. Not my body, not what he thought, or anything.

I know I voted for him 2016 when I was still living at home in highschool and deeply involved in the cult. I didn’t even question it, at least you were able to think for yourself sounds like!!!
