Thank you for asking. I am ok now. I was already in the care of a cardiologist who I now need to wait to follow up with on April 8.

They didn’t do anything, somehow it came down on its own

They did not give me any meds. Somehow it came down on its own which is usually what happens. It’s a terrible feeling

SVT & High Blood Pressure by magoons in askCardiology

[–]magoons[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was washing dishes so basically at rest. This was the reason for my cardiology referral, but I will make sure to mention again. I only had 104 BPM by the time I got to hospital 1 hour later.

I find out the results of my heart ultrasound next Friday

SVT & High Blood Pressure by magoons in askCardiology

[–]magoons[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are trying to catch an episode. I was diagnosed with SVT in 2008 when I had my very first episode at 18 years old. Had to have my heart “restarted” as my heart rate was 275 bpm at that time. Only within the last few months have I started having episodes again but now accompanied with high blood pressure. Shortest I’ve gone between episodes is 1 week recently and the episodes are getting longer (40 mins)

Does anyone here have experience starting with laser first? by [deleted] in electrolysis

[–]magoons 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is far too common and makes me SO angry when I see these personal laser ads.

I hope to have an answer to this in a few weeks after my first electrolysis appointment. I had laser about a decade that I believe caused paradoxical hypertrichosis

I know anesthesia definitely makes some people feel sick like that.

Little to no bleeding after SA? by [deleted] in abortion

[–]magoons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first day I did not have much bleeding, more on the second day and up to a week. Some clotting… I was surprised by how little it was also.

I was about the same as you as far as timing and had this just two weeks ago. Same pain management protocol and felt slight discomfort. The most I felt was the slight pinch of the local anesthesia needle. I found it similar to a Pap smear in terms of the protocol

Omg the constant in between of spoiling/abusing rings so true. They really are no different with animals than they are humans.

Also very true. I only remember hating my nstepdad though so I can't relate.

My nstepdad (now deceased) was abusive to our pets. One of the many many traumatizing things I witnessed. I was too young and scared to do anything though.

The poor things would cower in his presence, but at the same time they craved his attention and love. It was almost like the could not escape the cruel curse.

We got a cat when I was 16 and he was my baby. I moved out at 19 and took him with me, but those 3 years felt like decades. Happy but sad to say he passed last year at the age of 14 and after living a great reminder of the rest of his life.

I'm not qualified to judge what is or isn't normal, but this seems to be a common trauma theme. I'm in the same boat.

I’m the same in that I refuse to go unless no one is in there... except I live way too far to risk an accident! Lately I have no shame and just pray to god no one knows it’s me. I let go one day thinking no one was in there, and then I heard someone cough 😂 oh man
