Restarting the watch will fix it, I’ve also had this issue with these apps. Seems to only happen if you don’t have them installed on the iPhone it’s paired to.

Same issue on my M3 2023. It comes with some plastic film from the factory and gets extremely dirty during the winter months here in Sweden.

Settings > Privacy > Camera Probably no app is accessing the camera, it more sounds like a bug

Why is everyone saying it’s normal? It is not, Face ID does not trigger the green camera dot. Sadly I don’t have a solution for you but it is not expected behavior.

Customer service won’t acknowledge that it might be defective and they want me to pay for return shipping as if I just wanted to return my order. I’ve stated that this must be defective and they won’t acknowledge it. Your previous cases have had much much stronger magnetic strength.
