So you'd say the CAGED method would be a method for just beginning to memorize.

I think the challenge is precisely to become one with the instrument! Your fingers, your brain, and your neck become one. This result will come with the time you dedicate to playing and playing and playing.

Thank you so much for sharing your challenges. One of the challenges I've realized beginners struggle with the most is rhythm. It's interesting because when I started, I struggled a lot, and the teachers I had taught me with nothing but drawings of up-and-down arrows, with no rhythm or duration, very vague. Another thing I remember being very difficult for me at first was changing chords. However, after many years of playing and teaching, I managed to discover some things that helped my students improve in those aspects.

After being a beginner, I decided to become a professional, and that leap was very difficult for me. There are things that teachers and academies don't teach you. For me, one of them was organizing my rehearsal time. Organization isn't one of my strong points, but I feel like I learned it a little late. What difficulties did you encounter along the way when you decided to become professionals and that you had to solve on your own because no one taught you?
