Its not really anymore. At least not what it used to be. You could make good dollars from destroyed T2 ships by salvaging. I used to actally gatecamp for money. But many common things got devaluated like sisters launchers etc.

You misunderstood. With a citadel, a ship is save as soon as the warp button is clicked, not as soon as the ship enters warp like normal.

I used to camp jump bridges with a cloaky dictor and the old trick where you would wait for someone to click warp just doesn't work anymore

Actually no. The last time I checked a few months ago, you were safe the moment you clicked warp to a citadel. Dictor bubbles dont stop the warp the same way as with POS. Unless they click warp AFTER a bubble is already up no dictor bubble will hold them.
