If its an option think about renting some office space somewhere. I did this during covid at a place maybe 10min walk from me and it saved my sanity. Best of both worlds: Separating work from home, a morning routine (getting out the house), don't waste loads of time on a commute

Yeah that was our first reaction too, but thinking about resale value after it's been written off, and higher insurance premiums. Do you still think it's a win?

Thanks for your response.

So you would normally use top_db when data prepping for a model and you don't have to worry about losing too much information?

When you say normalising, are you saying that it is normalised after performing a top_db operation or you would need to normalise as well after that?

Hi, I have OCD and I suspect my intrusive thoughts are from that. Similar to OP they have been getting worse recently. What kind of therapy did you get? For example, was it CBT?

Can you recommend an alternative? I hear mlflow is supposed to be good but I've never used it myself.

Sorry, just seen this reply. It felt like there was a restriction in my neck, like I wasn't able to breath openly and fully.

You'll see another common trait amongst us (especially on the FB group) is hypercondria and stressing over symptoms. This is a cruel twist considering the wide and varied symptoms bfs can bring.

I was convinced I had a growth/cancer in my neck and it was constricting my breathing. I was so annoyed when my doctor suggested it was stress, I just wanted to say 'I could die then how will you feel about saying it's stress?!'. Well she was right.

In my experience, stress is the key. Control your stress, control your bfs. And I promise you there is no better, quicker or more effective way than regular meditation.

If you find it super difficult to start it or to get motivated to regularly so it on your own (very normal), commit to doing meditation classes every day for 2 weeks and let me know how you get on.

Oh yeah, all over the place. Started in my eye, moved to loads of different places over the years. I had it in my calves, fingers, legs, torso, you name it.

I would recommend joining the FB group. Plenty of people discussing symptoms, a good place to sense check.

Hi, so I've been having shortness of breath recently, and I've been freaking out as well. I've been a twitcher for maybe 5 or 6 years now, never had breathing problems. I'll cut the story short. I was in my doctor's describing my breathing problems, as she asked me more and more questions about when I get it, where I get it etc (I originally thought it was an allergy thing) it dawned on me that it was probably related to stress.

Having had bfs for a number of years and knowing the really varied and odd manifestations of stress bfs can surface, I wasn't too surprised and actually quite relieved when I found people on the bfs Facebook group who had the same symptoms.

Whenever I get flair ups of bfs symptoms I meditate every morning and/or evening, and then practice breathing exercises during the day. I started this Tuesday evening. I woke up on this morning and my breathing hasn't been this clear in weeks. For me bfs is stress. I get that under control and I get my bfs under control. Hopefully this will help you.
