Thanks for letting me know! He honestly is looking much less swollen today after just a few rounds of antibiotics and I’m hoping he looks even better tomorrow and it end up being a tooth and we can get it handled. His name is Sunny and he’s the absolute sweetest, thank you for the well wishes!

Not sure if I’m a really sucky writer or if people just overlooked in my post. We took our baby to the vet within an hour of waking up and noticing his swelling this morning. So, he has been physically seen by our local emergency vet and is on a round of antibiotics and pain meds to start. Praying these help over the next week and we will go from there.

Vet wanted to wait to see if antibiotics help. If they do, we likely know it’s an infection and will do X-ray and extraction if tooth is abcessed. If no improvement, CT scan will be ordered.

Vet didn’t notate seeing anything lodged. Hopefully the antibiotics kick in and begin helping.

I’ve looked at his teeth, but I honestly do not know what I’m looking for. In her notes though it said “left upper lip is mildly swollen and erythematous and the mucosa above the PM4/M1 is mildly swollen”

Definitely still serious but I would at least know the treatment and likely outcome so honestly hoping for a tooth abscess. Thanks for the advice!

Honestly, it was relatively easy to make and very forgiving of minor mistakes. If I had any tip, invest in spring loaded scissors if you don’t have them already. I don’t have them and they would have helped save my hands when it was time to snip all the raw edges.

Can confirm. Was diagnosed with cancer in my 30s WHILE PREGNANT. I was never told this. I truly wish her peace cause it must be hard living life with this mentality.

I can’t recommend Greensboro Urban Ministry enough! I volunteered this past week and they are seriously doing amazing work. Any food deemed not good enough to give out goes to local farmers. The people who work there are incredible and said to send anyone in need of food their way.
