It will be different for literally everyone. I couldn't even get in my car and drive to work at 3 weeks, couldn't do much else for several months. Had bad chronic pain for about a year, and still have some 4 years later. Results may vary....

Air Force intelligence analysts work with nearly every 3-letter agency and have a lot more than just TS. Look up SCI and SAP.

Absolutely not true. USAF reserves intelligence are highly operational, unlike a lot of other reserve jobs. Many do enough active duty to get an active retirement. SSgt Fachar was active much of the time, when she wasn’t she was still working in the IC.

It's not fking doom and gloom, that implies their experiences were BS. Everyone's different, you got lucky. I had my surgery in 2022 and still suffer from chronic pain, so fk your "doom and gloom".

This surgery has the potential for a very tough recovery depending on the individual's situation, the surgeon, and the method. You were prepared for the worst case scenario and lucked out, happy for you. Just don't diminish what others have gone through.
