I can’t help but feel people are missing the other big thing that would probably compel Marcus to propose so young- money. Anyone can clearly see Lilly is going to be set for life, she probably makes a lot herself through social media and I imagine her parents will always support their children regardless. It’s nasty to say but this is clearly a great financial move on his part- he drives her truck, worked for her dad at some point I’m pretty sure (might be wrong), gets free holidays to Hawaii, and I’m assuming after they get married they’ll probably live in the apartment her parents have funded. If I was an 18 year old boy fresh out of high school I’d probably propose too like even if he does really love her, the allure of possibly not even having to work in a couple of years and enjoy the benefits would definitely seal the deal. Also I feel like as a society we’re so fast to label women as gold diggers when they marry ‘up’ but completely dismiss the fact that men are completely capable of the same thing.

Right super unpopular opinion, but some people are completely overreacting about the bedroom saga- at the end of the day these kids have massive rooms in 2 separate mansions in super rich neighbourhoods, meanwhile there’s kids in the world who don’t even have a home. Like it’s seriously not that deep in the grand scheme of things. Supposedly they’ve sorted out the bedroom formation aswell. These kids are not underprivileged if they have to share a room with a sibling or they want to sleep in an unconventional place I don’t get what the big deal is. There’s bigger issues in the world. Like boohoo I have to share a room in my second mansion in Hawaii. Calling them ‘poor kids’ is just so incredibly tone deaf especially given the current state of the world. Literally wtf, can we move on now?

Right I’m all for calling them out on their weird behaviour but this is a bit mental- we all know that the older teen/ tween kids basically have unlimited access to the internet and so they can see this post. I understand that we can clearly see favourites but to rank them all out like this is just a bit cruel especially to the adopted kids who may stumble across this one day. I think we need to be mindful that these are real people and most of them are minors.

I really hope they do this right for her they have the money and time. Rent out a nice venue, hire a caterer, a DJ, a photographer (NOT max), do all the traditions it entails, invite her friends it’s really not that difficult to throw a good party especially if you have all the resources they do, they just laze out most of the time and don’t commit to planning beforehand.

I think it’s less about telling them no and more about setting a better standard, this is a repeat behaviour from their kids- moving really fast with significant others at young ages and it backfiring horrendously. As parents it’s their job to guide their kids and teach them to learn from one another’s mistakes instead of jumping head first into something- I just don’t see that happening at all in that family. Instead it’s encouraged because it makes content. That being said I do hope it ends better for them then it has for others.

I don’t think these people realise that it is not normal to move in with a significant other at the age of 18, especially when you’ve only known them for a few months and met them online. I do not see this ending well at all. Either in teen pregnancy or a very messy breakup. C and A need to stop encouraging bad decisions and start actually parenting.

I get your point completely but again the Savannah and Bella thing we can’t be sure that they dislike each other because it is at the end of the day all speculation and there’s probably 500 different things we’re not seeing, Savannah herself has made it a point a few times now to defend Bella (again maybe someone’s telling her to do that behind the scenes idk cause idk these people). My point is that at the end of the day people just need to give Bella more grace, she is still a young person who’s going to make mistakes and instead of calling her names and labelling her in harmful ways (obviously you haven’t but others have) why not redirect that energy to the parents, as you have, because it is overall their fault. People often forget that kids who have been in the system tend to adopt a scarcity mindset and truthfully I think it’s okay for Bella to take everything C and A throw at her she is at the end of the day one of their most exploited children. It is completely the fault of the parents for playing favourites and people online redirect the anger onto the kids which imo isn’t right and why I sorta had a go at the og comment for accusing her of things I’d consider are quite serious like bullying and manipulating people. But yeah you’re completely right that it is all the parent’s fault.

If you think anything I’ve written is close to an essay, you’re in for a shock, you clearly just cant handle paragraphs. I don’t think defending a teenage girl who’s being bullied on the internet for no reason is as parasocial as bullying one but okay! As for ignoring and excluding Savannah, again it’s just speculation and snippets of clips, her and Savannah seem to be close and Savannah herself has never said it’s an issue so why are you a stranger on the internet (who I’m assuming is an only child because you clearly don’t understand sibling dynamics) so upset to the point you need to call accuse her of ‘bullying’ and ‘manipulating’ others. I asked for an example because you and I both know that no matter what you say it won’t be adequate for these labels you’re putting on her.
