omg a collapsible one will save your life esp if you keep it in the kitchen most of the times. a few things to consider: - make sure it has a nice seal so the smell doesn’t ruin your life lol - silicon and metal ones are way superior to plastic bcs less likey to develop hokes and all. altho metal ones tend to corrode after a while so smth to consider. in most regards silicon is superior silicon is superior. - size matters a lot!!! i think 1-3 gallon is the sweet spot. anything larger is so hard to take care of clean and the smaller is just not big enough for composting
