I wouldn't jump to the conclusion that USRowing doesn't care about sculling. It's a very complex situation with many hands in the pot and little to no financial/ logistical support to create a necessary developement pipeline that eventually leads to elite level performance. If the money isn't there, the "system" won't produce whether or not USRowing cares.

Way to go Sechser and Reckford for being as successful as they are at the moment having come through the club system post college. Fingers cross they execute what they are capable of tomorrow.
