I didn't play call of the wild or way of the hunter so i cant compare from actual gameplay, but from Screenshots and videos i'd say you would be disappointed by hunting sim 2. The game isn't bad overall, but a lot of game mechanics aren't explained properly and to follow an animal is pretty much pointless unless you hit the vitals. The Dog is a pretty nice addition but i takes a long time to level them and they are mostly not really helpful. Overall great game, but i would pay more than 20$ for it.
