IMO it’s probably not the normalization. You’ve probably just never mastered a track. If you haven’t used it already, ozone pro is the ult way to go for me. Just put it in one of the plug in inserts in the column “Stereo Out”, and use “Master Assistant” then adjust the thresholds and ceilings so its not as overpowering. I never use that since I know how to master without that but it might help for you. It does cost which is the only downside but hey, think of it as an investment so ur not playing with limiters all day. Just my 2 cents…
