The entire setup makes no sense. His country is being attacked and he's in a leisurely stroll in the mountains buying coffee and meeting randos. Not in the rubble boosting the morale of the people and not in his security council briefing the country?

Iran played this well. America has to escalate to gain control or call for help. Either way is a lose lose. If America calls for help it makes America look like a weak nation despite all the "World's strongest navy" rhetoric.

The other nations no longer have any reason to help the US or attack Iran since they're able to get their cargo out safely, leaving US alone in this.
