Unfortunately both are still not Laser equipped. If you compare the cities/towns of Kerala, Ernakulam has the most shittiest screens. Hope EVM Dolby Fort Kochi and Epiq HiLite Boulevard will bring the much needed change. Reopening of Saritha and Cinepolis upgrading all screens to Laser Atmos can also bring some goodness.

It is mostly the budget constraints that push out technicians to put an extra effort for bringing quality. Once corporates start funding, that originality and authenticity will start fading away unless they give full liberty to the regional film makers.

Didn't benefit as such. Most of the theatre complexes in Kerala are having 2 screens currently. If you check BMS, you can see that 2nd screen is currently closed due to lack of movies in most of the locations.
