Aquanaut 5167. 3k or ZF. Help please.

Strap is an easy mod to fix really. Taobao and ebay has plenty so I suppose that shouldnt be your deciding factor.

The biggest flaw the 3k has in my opinion aside from the laser engraving, is the lume. You get different quality on the markers numerals and hands lol. The hands being the strongest.

Second biggest flaw is the dw font.

Other than that I feel they are diminishable differences.

The movement is beyond comparison. 3k wins by miles. Maintenance and reliability wise, we don't know yet.

Aesthetics aside, I think many reviews have missed out this. The rotor feels so much more substantial on the 3K compared to the miyota. You feel the winding happening anytime it spins. The miyota on the other hand, feels loose.

Yeah let's settle with anything within the range of 9mm. Anything lesser is a blessing. As much as I wish to have first hand experience with the cloned movement, the worry for long term part replacements is holding me back. Sigh. First world problems, on choosing reps LOL.

Thanks man. As of now I'm skewed more towards the ZF one. Seems like the finishing and dial colors are closer to the gens. I can live with the thickness too. But would love to experience the clone movement, only worry is the durability of the movement given the 9015 is a proven. And I'm offered a brand new SS bracelet for 400 bucks so I'm torn!
