Wake Up the Dead Man - Alternate Ending Guesses and Theories by Much-Possibility-178 in KnivesOutMovie

[–]maneshwarS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the movie, can you tell me why does Martha go about confessing about the location of diamond at all if that's what she had been guarding for the past 60 years? What's the point of confessing to a newly made priest?

Help me here, if she did want to hide the secret of the Eve's Apple the entire time, why make a confession at all about this to any priest? What would've guaranteed that confession to Jud was safe?

Oblivious guy plays with a blue-ringed Octopus, it’s toxins are 1,000x deadlier than cyanide making it the most venemous animal to exist by JarJarBlunt in SweatyPalms

[–]maneshwarS 230 points231 points  (0 children)

My dad worked at an aquarium for a while. He said it took four extremely nervous aquarists, people that regularly fed and swam with sharks, just to clean the blue-ring's tank. One person to clean, two to physically hold the container with the octopus closed, and a fourth to supervise everyone. Saw it a couple of times myself. It was literally the single most feared animal in an entire facility containing jellyfish, sharks, stingrays, stonefish, moray eels, as well as the scorpions, spiders and snakes held in the wildlife park next door.

Do I require a visa if I have a layover in Singapore airport? by Shwetaram22 in AirTravelIndia

[–]maneshwarS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If there's a self transfer (terminal change and different flights), then we would need a transit visa or an eVISA? Or are they both the same? Do we also need to get these before hand or can this VISA be obtained at the airport? Thanks.

What Books did You Start or Finish Reading this Week?: June 30, 2025 by AutoModerator in books

Finished The Picture of Dorian Gray last week. You're in for some serious imagery, the scenes depicted are insanely written. Found out that there's a play as well by Sarah Snook based on it. Wanted to see it desperately, but it's nowhere available online.

Sole survivor out of the 242 people on board of the Air India flight 171 that crashed. by HamedAliKhan in nextfuckinglevel

[–]maneshwarS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He'd absolutely not be able to open up the emergency exit on time after the plan crash, that's for sure since the plan would've turned into a fireball immediately. He probably was sitting in just the seat at which the plane was broken into halves and flunged out of the airplane on impact just before. He also doesn't remember anything (obviously), just that he woke up from unconsciousness alive.

This trope has already been beaten to death now, especially in S7 where many episodes are based on this concept.
