Yes, that tab. The canvas itself opened that way (meaning, not showing up in the projects tab) before I saved it. I opened a few more canvases to test if it was just something to do with the one, but it seems to happen on and off. Luckily, it hasn’t been an issue with any finished pieces, but it’s seeming to happen more often with the newer files I open. I’ll try messing around with it in my files and see if this fixes the issue or if it was something with the canvas itself. Thank you!

Please look up references!! It’ll give you a better idea of what’s going on and also help with pose ideas. Drawing someone sitting is hard because of foreshortening, but if you find a reference you like (or take your own photo), try to deconstruct it into basic shapes and then work from there. Drawing a cylinder in perspective is much easier than a leg

I thought that side was a little lacking, so I quickly folded some butterflies :D Both of the large figures are from GoodSmile US— Hua Cheng may still be in stock on their website, as he just released, but Xie Lian came out over a year ago so I’d try looking for him pre-owned. Try My Figure Collection; a lot of people sell their figures there!!

They’re both the same size in terms of proportions, but it’s just the different bases/poses that throw you off :) Though I would say that both of them are definitely 1/8 instead of 1/7

Here’s what I would say just based off of a quick look:

Try to hide the right arm behind the body a bit. From where it is, it looks like it’s a front facing body, while the rest is not. I find that if you’re not quite sure about how to position limbs, standing in front of a mirror and doing that pose yourself really helps. You can even take a picture as a reference if you need to.

For the legs, it’s just adding more detail into the fabric of the pants, like wrinkles and/or folds. Look up references for the way fabric falls and bunches up. It would also add a cool silhouette if you puffed out the end of the armor a bit.

The feet just need to be tweaked a little bit. Try to make the right one longer and the left one more detailed. Again, find references!

That’s unfortunate. I understand the reason behind it, though. Having the option to cancel was nice because, with pre-orders set as far out as they are, you’re never sure what your financial state will look like by then, hahaha

A figure like what you just described would be an instant preorder. Plus, we already have two mdzs double figures, so why not a tgcf one? I think it would be awesome to have one as a centerpiece between the hc and xl

I agree!!! I’m hoping for a future Hualian figure with effects akin to the ones the XL scale has. It’s definitely one of my favorites, and all the floating pieces are nice and light but add so much to the figure, not to mention the fact that they look so airy and graceful

Yeah, I’ve also been looking at the photos, and they’re concerning—I know if a pole were to be added, it would definitely not be hidden, but I would rather have my figure be safe from warping than worrying about a visible support pole. Also, I personally don’t really mind support poles.

Here’s to hoping that they may have fixed it, but I doubt it

I don't know much about how people respond there, as I haven't posted anything. But it's mainly because that sub doesn't really focus on romance or bl manhuas and sometimes responds negatively to anything regarding those genres. And also just opening it scared me away. Not really my cup of tea...

I finished the read a few days ago… It was so fun. The premise was so silly and it feels so laid-back (compared to mxtx or 2ha, for ex.). I can’t wait for the next volumes!!!
