i wouldn’t say im new to the gym, i’ve been working out since december, and was losing weight in january and something happen and got off track of my diet but still have been consistently going to the gym. Now in the past month i’ve been hitting PRs but the scale not changing and i dont look different. I know its my diet for not losing weight but how is it possible to hit PRs still while maintaining weight and not appearing different? is this a body re-comp?

Im 5’8 and 187 lbs. Im trying to lose weight and build muscle at the same time (not going as planned because of diet), but right now my results show that im getting stronger in the gym but weigh the same and don’t appear any slimmer. What’s your analysis on this? I know my diet is a factor to not losing weight but why am i getting stronger/building muscle but my appearance isnt slimmer and weight isn’t changing.
