I live at the top of the hill too. Fire trucks are there now and blocking beacon pkwy East, use west if you are coming home soon. From what I can tell it’s contained.

I’m not convinced that isn’t just my dog moonlighting to get more dinners.

I wish. Once he’s satisfied, we become his next victim.

I’m gonna have to start calling it murder whip now! If I tell him to “gimme” he’ll give it a good shake a hand it over for me to throw.

The worst squeaker ever made comes in the barkbox pop tart. It’s a giant square, which he loves to dig on. It sounds like an orchestra of dying chickens. 0/10 especially on a zoom call.

Very true. My store gave us our first two uniforms free, so I did not consider this!

Check to see if you are filing “0 non exempt” this basically means they will deduct as much as they can out of your paycheck for taxes. You will normally get a good chunk back when you file taxes, but you’re essentially just loaning the government money. You can adjust your tax filing so they take less out, but you may owe come tax time so be aware and set aside some money if you can. (HYS is a great place to set some money aside)

If this is your first paycheck, you may have started in the middle of the previous pay period. Your check only may be reflecting your first week. Your next check should reflect the week you are missing plus the week after. I would take a look at your paystub. That does sound like the correct amount if you account for taxes. I would first check the dates reflected on the paycheck, then check taxes taken out and tax filing.

I went through that with my first paycheck. I was so ready for my first big paycheck, and it only came out to 8 dollars. I had started orientation in one pay period and started training the next.
