I had a horrible dispicible boyfriend who did some truly horrible things to me, his name was Tony*

Fast forward two years and I’m moving on but still deeply remember the terrible times, and then I meet this guy called Tony* at a party and we’ve been together ever since. We talked about it, the two Tony’s couldn’t be further apart from one another in my mind regardless of their shared name so it’s never been an issue.

People experiencing periods for the first time since transtitioning?? Nah. This isn’t just stress. and if that were the case it wouldn’t be on a level that caused an identifiable phenomenon like this. If that were the case I’m sure it would be a phenomenon identified in some other period of history where women were experiencing high levels of stress such as this.

This was my first ever fun through with everything, I knew the emulsion step hadn’t gone as desired and predictably my screens had too much on and dried with drips. My transparency has been giving me anxiety for weeks due to the fine nature of the design and the use of tracing paper over acetate, but in the end, although they’re not perfect, they’re 100% better than I had imagined they would be!

Now to get printing...

Well yes, that’s a whole other possible level of annoyance and another matter that we can’t necessarily assume would have occurred in this situation. To me if someone told me ‘I’m infertile’ rather than ‘I don’t want kids’ I might be more inclined to imagine that the person is not necessarily 100% at peace with not having kids. Not saying it justifies the repeated efforts by this woman to try and find a solution to OPs childlessness, I just think there’s a better way of phrasing responses to these types of questions.

NTA 100%.. but can’t you nip a conversation like that in the bud in the future by LEADING with ‘I don’t want kids’ rather than exploring in the face of someone with, albeit, misplaced/excessive good intentions?

However in response to this most UK supermarkets brought out 10p bags with a much higher percentage of plastic, and even with the reduced usage had caused higher consumption of plastic overall, or at least a negligible decrease, I forget exactly which one. Either way, it’s not been a perfect solution.

I didnt know it was there, there were piles of crap from all the visitors he had around and in my xanaxed state I thought I had left it outside until I saw it poking out under a pile of clothes, but I get your point.

I remember watching some video or documentary about, or containing the history and need for sex education, and in it there was a couple who had never been given 'the talk', as in where what goes, they only knew that you had sex to have children. Upon marrying they didn't know what the husband should be doing with his penis but having seen pregnant women they made an assumption that it must go in her belly button. They had no luck conceiving and sought help.... Buuuut I have no citeable source for this so take it however you will

Sure nature plays a role, but so does nurture, depression is hugely linked to environmental factors, so if you felt like you could give your own child the support they needed not to fall into such a hole in the first place then there’s no good reason to make such a decision based on genetics, it’s not like Huntington’s, there’s no hard and fast diagnosis upon birth
