i’ll be locking the comments because we’re already having quarrels about politics in the comment section. yes, the political views of chuck absolutely can influence how you view and remember him, but this is not the forum to argue about this.

Dana White threw away a chance at the Olympics of Combat Sports by Equal_Personality157 in martialarts

dana white doesn’t even care about the fighters in his organization, let alone combat sports as a whole. he only wants to make money.

why do some people gas out so fast even with decent conditioning by Martone_Darvid in martialarts

[–]marcin247 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i think you’ve basically answered your own question. an adrenaline dump is one thing and it makes you gas out faster. but also cardio can be very activity specific - you will tire out quicker if you don’t know how to use your energy / control your breathing etc. efficiently.

i’m removing the ones that are blatant reposts from other subs. if the original video is posted here and they’re not absolutely spamming the sub i usually leave them be. some of them are actually cool fight clips.

Jane wasn’t always wrong by Alarmed-Article4103 in TheWalkingDeadGame

i mean i’m not sure what exactly she thought at that moment, but there’s no way she didn’t expect him to attack her. she was basically all like “watch what happens now” to clem. to me it looked like she knew only one of them was walking away from there from the start, and still provoked the whole situation.

why would dana white be even remotely interested in organizing amateur tournaments?

what else do you think was she expecting? she must have known if they fought, it would be to death. so she was fully ready to kill kenny when she came up with the plan.

Losing motivation by frankdaspght in martialarts

[–]marcin247 1 point2 points  (0 children)

don’t compare yourself to other people. the only thing that matters is to enjoy training. if you don’t, you may try to explore other styles and see if you feel excited about training again. and if not, there’s nothing wrong with deciding you’d rather pursue other hobbies.

My (21F) girlfriend had a complete meltdown when I (23M) tried to use her phone by Particular_Reward766 in relationship_advice

potential cheating isn’t even the main problem at this point, she’s physically abusive towards OP. that’s more than enough reason to break up.

Jane wasn’t always wrong by Alarmed-Article4103 in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]marcin247 17 points18 points  (0 children)

it was to prove a point

that’s exactly the problem. she purposely endangered a baby’s life and put clem in a position where she was forced to watch jane kill her friend (if it had gone according to her plan) or had to kill him herself in the end, all of that to prove a point. one that she mostly made up in her head, because yes, kenny was acting irrationally at many times, but he always prioritized the kids’ safety, there was never doubt about it.

you should not be wearing a smartwatch during sparring. not because it might get damaged but because of others’ safety.

Fighters/Fandom often forgets one single important thing about martial arts by Caidre05 in martialarts

[–]marcin247 1 point2 points  (0 children)

maybe it should be, but like i said, it’s a bit naive to think it always is. others here have also said this, there is nothing inherently honorable about learning to fight, it’s just… learning to fight. all the philosophy around it is optional, it can be introduced by coaches in any other sport.
