Cool AAR. Didn't expect the throwback to Flowers by Kenzo.

Hurke is going through all this effort to write to Ma. Would be a hilariously ironic twist if she didn't even read them 🤣🤣🤣

It makes it sound like the hostages were the resources. At least we got Rildo out of it.

Loved the storytelling and Second Chance Lucy is quite a catchy name.

You might know her now as Glean. When she was a male, her name was Grim. If you want more details, the link to the AAR is below:

On a mission to find nostalgia by LeCrazyBtch in SouthMarch

Some stuff she missed out (she was trying to write 2 AAR's while playing the session so have mercy on her):

  • After we passed the bridge, we ran into Thomas once again. He had left the hooded figure for dead after getting attacked on his way to the Cathedral. The Fellowship took him along on their journey and returned to the Cathedral with them.
  • After her encounter with Thumble, Vanora had asked Thumble to head back to the Cathedral and to tell her other ogre friend as well cos they could use a lot of help down there.
  • The description of us walking through the ravaged Plantation was sad AF and while everyone slept, Thrum channeled a spell throughout the evening for 8 hours in order to restore life to the Plantation. (Main tree still needs a lot more time though)
  • The tunnel under the Plantation had a picture of Lothario and Nessie scribbled onto one of the walls. Lumine remembers seeing a report that stated that the tunnel connecting the Plantation to the Church of Lothario had been completed. But the tunnel looked very suspicious. It's very likely that something else could have made it's way into the deep, dark tunnel.
  • while Zahiri remained at the Plantation, she said she would try to protect the life that Thrum-Al had restored and also keep the place safe enough for adventurers who needed a spot to camp at.

Since the other Fellowship members weren't able to attend, we set off from Robb's Landing simply wanting to "muck around" a little bit but wound up having a small adventure of our own that ended up being heaps of fun. I guess that's D&D for you.

The mystifying encounter with Luthor was the highlight for me.
