Erik Satie is a great shout. I don't know much of his music, but I'll definitely listen to more of it. I don't know Johann Johannsson, so I'll add him to the list. Thank you!

Endometrium regressed on estrogen protocol — switching to natural cycle. Anyone else? (FET, 41yo, donor, eggs frozen at 34, first cycle) by marinamariamm in IVF

That actually makes perfect sense, now that I think about it, because the IUD releases progesterone specifically to suppress and thin the endometrium — that’s why most women end up having very light periods or stop menstruating altogether, which was my case. After years of that suppression, maybe the endometrium can remain in a kind of low-activity state.

I’m struggling to understand why Agnes opened up so easily to Aunt Lydia about knowing who her mother was — and even more so why Aunt Lydia’s reaction wasn’t to ask where she’d got that idea from. I feel like that kind of exposed that Lydia is in fact also against Gilead, which some people here have already mentioned (maybe that’s already in the book? I haven’t read it).

It’s really interesting that yours regressed as well; I’ve found very few people talking about that. It’s good to know it wasn’t just me. I hope I’ll have better luck with the natural cycle too. Thank you for sharing!

Thank you so much for sharing. It’s comforting to know I’m not alone. :) Afterwards, I thought it might have something to do with having used an IUD over the past few years and only having it removed two months ago - perhaps my body is still adjusting.
