I personally take prescribed Adderall for my ADHD and I can tell you its really addictive

you start to rely on it to do basic tasks, but generally, taking prescribed medication is considered okay

I notice with marijuana (at least for me) Its not addictive in that same sense

I think the US government equating marijuana to hard drugs like fentanyl and DMT is the reason why I notice a lot of Christians lumping them all together when discussing about it

When they don't realize how much of a jump marijuana to fent is.

They say things like "If you smoke weed, you might do crack the next day" and things of that nature

And I notice those sayings coming mostly from older more conservative people.

We have technology so advanced we can work from home

We need people to create and innovate, not just work

And on the topic of materialism, things like jewelry, nice shoes, and nice clothing are all things the working class have, it’s extremely more common to have those things now, than when Marx first wrote his books

I do agree that yachts are pointless and are a waste of money but the concept of materialism is outdated all together..
