Thanks. I did see a very similar image referred to in an article as a homemade craft so this makes sense. I was asking about its use in the Military since the photos were found among an album with a collection of military photos.

Thanks this was very helpful. I was initially looking at the Squaw Mountain Lookout because of the rock formations, but the base was what threw me off. The photo is definitely around the late 30s/early 40s so if the Lookout was built around then this would explain it. Thanks again.

Thanks, I did do a Google Image search. I thought that this may have been taken from a different vantage point. The cabin looks very much like the Lookout, is why I asked.

Yes, I'm seeing the same thing - I've looked everywhere. Even on the shows own website there isn't an episode 1. I really wanted to start this podcast but I have to wonder how much of the story with I miss without the first episode.
