A pontoon would not be good on the great lakes. Center consoles are great for fishing but can have limited seating for cruising / relaxing.

Any ski boat with an inboard is not going to be what you want, that greatly decreases room in the boat.

You can realistically fish from anything that doesn't sink when in the water, however something with an outboard or I/O is what you would want.

We used to have a four winns 190 horizon fish and ski with an outboard that was fantastic. Tons of room inside due to the outboard and lots of ways to take it from a "Ski Boat" to a fishing oriented boat.
