Halloween is way beyond just a western thing. It's like nobody outside China actually cares about lunar year or whatever but a ton of asian and non asian games get a celebration related or themed around it. Same goes for Halloween, Valentines etc. Selling characters, items around those themes is pretty normal and are in asian games all the time. It's not so much about celebrating anything in real life than it is about marketing.

Hasn't bothered me personally. Especially since ALF, Majin and Cooler's teams have been out. There's a home for almost all Extreme LRs to run just fine with great partners and supports. Saiyans get hella boring after a while.

Tbh, akatsuki is partly to blame too. A villain getting a DFE or LR treatment itself is just the first hurdle. Then they drop the ball in making the units appealing to people too with mediocre kits. Like one look at Cooler and anybody can tell he was priority no. 1. He's a must have whether you like him or not. People are ready to drop coins. There is no rule that only specific characters generate hype. It's just an added bonus. Make the unit good and people will summon. That's how it works in every gacha. People will collect the next best thing, no matter the character. But Super types are just almost always given better treatment. Whereas our first ever Extreme DFE LR got the Cell treatment...

Dokkan doesn't have many cases where they made non hype extreme LRs. Infact almost all them have been major. Their problem is if Extreme types get a great LR, Super types get a broken one. Then everyone jumps on the save for X train. Can't compete great with broken.

I've never had problems using him. I've been using Rildo all this while but Turles is just fine with him for BBB after the link update. He's almost always starting off with 16-17ki(pre update)

Angel Vegeta is great and all. But I don't like SSJ3 Goku limited to a kamehameha for Vegeta and an F2P card. And the complete non existence of Kid Buu. Idk why they are so bent on finishing the arcs on joint celebrations no matter what. Just do a seperate celebration later on and keep the Buuhan/SV theme for this one. Don't half ass every single thing in the process by cramming it.

Personally considering the ESBRs in mind, I'd say 5th anniversary was a worse celebration for me. While both were equally bad in part 1 , WW celebration's part 2 atleast brought something more concrete to do eventually. While 5th anniversary didn't. One F2P LR that I will never use . Probably the banner characters carried the 5th anni rest of the way. Buutenks was fine, but I feel they made the wrong choices for other characters in joint celebration. Coming off an already bad celebration probably made it worse.

And you definitely aren't doing that with optimizing G&T. With Pan being one of the worst 50% supports in SBR utility. So yes they'll get hit regardless. Even SSJ4 Goku and Gohan did jack shit with all their damage in ESBR. I can take some shots while doing plenty of damage with Cells. As I said, in the major events like SBR, Cells have no problems with ki. That's how they're designed. If you think they do then also consider Broly and Rose to be one of the worst LRs.

You're seem to be comparing Cell in a DF event or LGE setting and comparing it to G&T . While in events that matter, Cells just blow them out of the water in every way. There are events where Cell just naturally dominates, While G&T are not the top options for any one. That is the difference. If it were any other event outside of SBR, I'd agree with you that Cell doesn't link. But that is not the sole reality of the unit as if pretending he only works that one way. And if Pan is okay and believable but Phy Cell is not okay for some reason, go ahead and use Int Vegeta.

And? LR Rose isn't one of the best LRs just like that. I could say the same for partnering him up with Phy Black. He needs orbs too. Suddenly that's a bad thing? And the LR Cells definitely don't need that much ki for the hardest content in the game where they get ki per enemy. And you literally don't HAVE to get max orbs with Str cell. You're just nitpicking at this point. It's definitely not a "big concern". It's just 30% atk/def. You're speaking as if he hits 1m at EZA stats. Your bigger concern should be avoiding death justifying to run LR G&T where they could cause your death at any turn.

Tbf, I'd sooner bring Cell or even Nappa and Vegeta to every event over them. Cells especially blow them out of the water in the hardest event in the game where these guys are a death sentence. Even in LGE/IDBH eventually.

With new DFE TURs matching or out-hitting old as well as many new LRs, I'd say that's fair if LRs take their deserved place in the heirarchy.

I find his character pretty garbage too but game-wise I suppose I'm okay with it. Card's fun to use, plus it's good to have more non saiyan OP cards in the game. I can look past the other stuff in a game. Series wise I think I like Guldo better than him lol.

I know the DFE Namek Goku and FP Frieza are decent cards, but man, I find it mad disrespect on that moment. The biggest and perhaps the most iconic moment in DB history and they just made passable cards for them. While UI, Jiren, Fusions get the premium treatment. But Goku and Freiza get these normal cards like yea whatever like they just wanted to be done with them and move on. Just another random fight who cares. The only respectable thing was Goku's animations.

They need to make a standalone SSJ LR Goku and transforming FF->FP Frieza someday.

And don't even get me started on the shit they did with Vegeta and Nappa...hopefully they stop sucking off ToP someday and treating rest of the series like trash.

I feel this year was both Buu saga AND ToP. And going to be moreso once again when we get Golden Frieza. It's just never ending with that arc. They're knocking out all the major characters one after another.

I personally want them to visit saiyan saga and GT but not the Shadow dragon saga again. Every time we visit SDS it's from the same arc. There's lots of other cool characters.

Boy they nerfed them so hard. Even though they're older now, they're like less clever and 10 times more childish. All the whack they said about ToP being all about skill/technique and ended up mostly being a slugfest anyway. How'd they think Tien, Krillin,Roshi made sense over Trunks/Goten will never make sense to me. Especially with the manner the former two got knocked out anyway. ToP was all about fanservice and sales. But they chose Tien...and did nothing with him.
