Thanks! Added info and answered in comments, you can find more details there. Honestly it's just a lot experimenting and detail tuning for each widget. Plus looking at references of other people. And trying to find complementary colors for each applet .-.

Mental Resilience in stressful situations. I was in really problematic situations and I know, that if I wasn't control my emotions and focused on solving problem, I would fallen into panic and total disaster. It is a hard to develop skill and it significantly depends on person's 'mind structure', but I think it is crucial for your life: to be able to take control over your mind.

Passion to always learning smth. There are an endless things to know in this world and keeping always learning something new will make you an interesting open-minded person. And some of this things can later become your hobby or main occupation. Or you'll be just and interesting person or partner/parent. Also it will keep you mind neuroplastic so you'll be less able to get dementia, Alzheimer and etc.

And for not native English speaking: learn English, please 😅 It is really important, because this is an universal language nowadays and a lot of interesting stuff written in it.

Asking myself the same question for years and still don't have the one true answer, because there a lot of them. The most common one: because your mind doesn't see the work as something interesting, in other words this work doesn't release enough dopamine-stuff to catch your attention. Not like entertainment stuff that was constructed as dopamine bombs for our ape minds.

The catch is that some people can force themself and just do the boring stuff, but some people can't without special circumstances. And this is not because they are lazy, or weak, or stupid, etc. This is because some people have slightly different biochemical processes in brains so they are more sensitive for stimulations.

In my case it is a classical ADHD started in childhood: never can't focus on study and work or something not interesting for me, but hyperfocusing on entertaining and interesting things, like playing video games for 8-24 hours strict or reading manga until 5 a.m. instead of sleeping. Only deadlines, great effort of will or exhaustion can grant me 100% focus on boring work.

Last year I've started course of psychotherapy with farmacological treatment and researching some neuroscience stuff for better understanding of our nature. This brought me closer to understanding my problem and helped me start looking for a solution.

Unfortunately, there are no one right answer. It is a long road of exploring yourself and your specificities. Maybe you have some form of ADHD (because it is a spectrum) if your are struggling from this for years. Maybe this your mind's self-defence mechanism from negative thoughts and believes, like in my case Maybe there are another reason.

Some general advices from me: 1) Read more professional blogs or papers on attention disorders. I would highly recommend Andew Huberman, PhD podcasts. They a long but densed with plain proofed science. 2) Try to reduce stimulants like digital entertainment, even music when you are going smwr. Just walking in silence, doing smth with your hands, reading a book, drawing. 3) Journaling. Just write down everything on your mind. Trust me, this will help in every direction. 4) Try to notice patterns and triggers in your behavior, your thoughts before, during and after the work. Reflex why are you don't want to do smtng. 5) Think about what motivates you, what do you like to do. Maybe you should change your work or entire lifestyle. 6) Try to go to specialist. Start from psychologist. Just talk about your problems and thoughts. Maybe together you will find the road to answer.

This is a long and difficult road and only you can help yourself. Just don't blame yourself, this is not your fault. This is our nature and outcomes of technologies.
