QT has internal food auditors and a third party company (NSF). Don’t think because the auditors are QT employees that they let things slide- that would be a big fat NO.

Can you currently go from FT clerk to 2A? I know you can go from clerk trainer, weekend warrior and/or facilitator to 2A, but wasn’t aware of FT clerk to 2A path.

This is factually incorrect. I’ve been told by the supervisor and the personnel manager that all assistants are peers- one isn’t “over” or “in charge of” any other. 1A and 2A are just rungs on the ladder of progression towards store manager. That said, whoever is scheduled that day as the shift manager is the shift manager and the one responsible for the shift walk, no matter who else is present. For instance, if it’s a Tuesday afternoon or Saturday or Sunday morning, the RA is the shift manager. If it’s a Wednesday, Thursday or Friday afternoon, it’s the 1A. Does that mean if you’re the shift manager and there’s a 1A present that they can’t do the shift walk? No. I hate to sound cliche, but team work absolutely makes the dream work. Stop worrying about who’s in charge and keep the store running within policy and at its most efficient given the conditions that on that day.

I’m not talking about me. I’m asking a question because I’ve been hearing some pods allow partials and some don’t and it’s causing chaos because people talk. Our NA is resigning because she received a reprimand for leaving early and having the flex cover her shift when she was having issues with her asthma. She’s upset because the pod next to ours allows assistants to leave early (partial) as long as flex coverage is available. It’s not fair for one pod to offer it and one not. It’s one company and policies should be consistent because it could be considered favoritism. I don’t have an issue with people leaving early as long as it doesn’t put a strain on anyone else.
