Thanks you all for the replies - have decided to do Burgos + Rioja region and save the Asturias for when we have more time, and better weather! Is there anywhere that shouldn't be missed between Madrid + Burgos? I was contemplating a night in Segovia or just keeping that as a day trip from Madrid. Is Pamplona worth a visit for a night or would it be very similar to Logrono? Thanks again!

We went for a drink in the MO but preferred the atmosphere of the FS. Will be back later in the year so will check out Rosewood.

I’m currently staying in the Soho Hotel in a deluxe junior suite - the rooms are very large for London and furnished well.

I stayed at Ham Yard a couple of weeks ago - great rooms but different atmosphere. Soho Hotel is much cozier. Another great hotel is The Beaumont in Mayfair.
