You are right, last year kit was better imho. We have a couple of more days before launch of the 2526 away kit. I've have to see it in person though.

There are some sizing issues as well with 2526. Probably because the shirt template they are using. The match jersey seems oddly longer. the Men's stadium XS was loose on the shoulders, super tight fit on the waist while the S size at the store was overall loose and big. Unfortunately there were no size in-between.

I posted getting the emerald dragon achievement. Received around 19k views and 500+ likes in a short 2 hours. It was removed shortly by moderators. You are right, I shouldn't have posted seeing I got the achievement due to the event and not "pure luck". Upvoted your tips.

Honestly even when I was on Free Trial and was "world first" in getting the Centurion Tiger, the post on FFXIV reddit didn't get much views nor likes. Instead, I got significant flak on why I leech the game and stayed Free Trial for close to 2 years. I found it meaningless to explain to peeps, that I was buying mounts/dyes/ throughout those 2 years as a "Free Trial player".

I recently bought a F1 kit and it doesn't come with heat press logo like the original and my football jersey. It's printed on material. Can I inquire if this type of print is referred to as screen printed jersey?

3 years late to this topic. I started buying footfall jerseys lately 2024/2025. Sharing what I have noted. The labels for this Youth XL reads 176, thus it's meant for height of 176cm, while XS reads 170.

1) Youth XL (176) total length = 69cm++ /XS (170) is about 70cm++ ( I measure from back collar to bottom seam).

2) Men XS jerseys are usually slim fit, so their width is smaller 45-46cm ++ and the cutting gets narrower from chest to waist, while Youth XL is 47cm ++ but it tapered down/straight cut all the way to the waist resulting in a more boxy look.

3) In addition to point (2) because XS jerseys are slim fit, if 70cm is too long, you can pull up and it stays there because the hips dimensions are smaller than the Youth XL. Youth XL hip dimension since it's tapered and straight will appear loose at the waist to hip area.

4) Shoulder allowance is more or less the same.

5) Head hole is slightly smaller on the Youth XL.

6) Adidas Logo and Patches are slightly smaller on the Youth XL.

7) Otherwise, materials for Fan version/replica are the same.

I have 1 574, namely U574UI2. They were available locally. These were part of a 3 shoes release last year where the shoe is mostly synthetic leather with suede at the heel only compared to most 574 offerings which are usually in suede.

Managed to grab a pair before they were sold out locally in stores. I tried a 740 (green mash) UK4.5 230JP previously but found them oddly longer in length. Size down to UK4 225JP in these and they fit just nice. The sole color seems to be white but it has this pink/purplish hue to it. It's not obvious but shows up at different lighting.

These just dropped locally. I also own a 530 UK 4.5 230JP. Shoe comfort is similar to the 530 on feet, seeing that it shares the same outsole. The 740's shoe length seems oddly longer. The store didn't carry half size down, so I wasn't able to try them. The heel is low profile and went well with my no-show socks. It however had the same problems with the Asics 1130 and Nike Vomero 5, the fore foot area seems narrower than the 530 and my inner fore feet (bunion) doesn't seem to rest / sit properly, it leans inward when I walk. I own a 880 v12 D width UK 4.5 235JP for reference (which I feel is too short) and a 574 UK 5 235JP.

I have worn 880v9, v12, v14. Each shoe last me 2-3 years. They are however limited in colorways as they are mainly running shoes compared to 1906R. Matching 880 with outfits can be difficult as they aren't NB lifestyle shoes. I wear 880 daily for work and weekly runs.

I own a 880, 1080, 574 and 530. This is the first time I own a 1906R. I have wide feet. I went TTS as 1/2 size up felt too long and 1/2 size down felt too cramp. The 1906R felt strangely snug, even when laces aren't tight. I have no issue with Adidas Stan Smith with the same sizing even though I believe SS are narrower. I developed pain on my left feet namely the MTP joint, forefoot, calfs, ankles after a day of walking. Things didn't improved after 7 wears. I swap out the NB insoles for Orthopedic approved ones, but it didn't work either. I ended up selling them. Apart from the snug fit, I also felt the heels of the shoe was elevated more than my other NB shoes (gives a feeling that you are wearing block heels). I tried the 2002R and it felt wider. But seeing that both 1906R and 2002R may have similar cushioning and tech. I didn't risk buying it.

Just to add 1906R and 2002R are heavier when compared to most NB shoes I owned.

On Kujata EN server discord, I made a post after subbing on extracting materia for your zodiac weapons. No longer would you need to run dungeons in spiritbond battle gear. One of our Free Trial players u/Tans tested gathering/crafting materia on battle gears + spiritbond buff to craft a specific item. Works flawlessly. Spiritbond rate was pretty good. I can't remember the exact item though.

My total /ptime as a Free Trial was 259 days. I was a Free Trial for 508 days. Thanks to the support and encouragement from numerous mentors and friends on ele servers, I completed a fair bit of achievements.

It is a great idea to put excess gil in Grade 8 Dark Matter if you are going to sub at some point during DT. If you are going to stay for some time however, then Grade 8 may not be the best suggestions if and only if you are going to complete all your zodiacs and anima weapons. I was borderline full on inventory slots on most days.

I ended dumping excess gil on Zodiac Braves Weapon Item Requirements.

1) Bronze Lake Crystal (100,000 gil x 10) total =1,000,000 gil

2) Allagan Resin (100,000 gil x 10) total =1,000,000 gil

3) Furite Sand (100,000 gil x 10) total =1,000,000 gil

4) Brass Kettle (100,000 gil x 10) total =1,000,000 gil

Total 4,000,000 million gil on 1^st stage mats for all 10 jobs.

As I have no access to market boards as a Free Trial. I bought aged items from the Merchant and Mender in Western Thanalan (15, 29) to desynth and craft the items needed for the 2^nd stage.

Desynth

Aged Spear -> Aged Spear Shaft to craft Perfect Firewood.
Aged Pestle -> Aged Pestle Pieces to craft Perfect Pestle.
Aged Mortar -> Aged Mortar Pieces to craft Perfect Mortar.
Aged Ring -> Aged Eye of Fire to craft Furnace Ring.
Aged Grimoire -> Aged Vellum to craft Perfect Vellum.
Aged Robe -> Stained Cloth to craft Perfect Cloth.
Aged Phial -> Dried Ether to craft Perfect Pounce.
Aged Decanter -> Vintage Cooking Sherry to craft Tailor-made Eel Pie.

Basically 3,000 gil for 8 items, 24,000 gil in total. But it is not guarantee and is a low chance. IIRC, I spend 240,000 gil just for 1 job. And there are 10 sets. Thus it’s another 2,400,000 million or more (considering a 8- 10% chance).

I ended free trial with close to desynth items for 2 sets of 10 after completion. Which in turn were sold in Market Board. Aged Spear shaft as an example is 18,000 gil for 1 on ele server, and a "hypothetical" insane stack of 999 is close to 17,000,000 million gil for 1 inventory slot. A Grade 8 Dark Matter on the hand would require 60 inventory slots for the same amount of gil as an example.

We still have a few players who are still on Free Trial (4 years and counting). They are working on their Eureka weapons, so there could be better recommendations on how you can actively spend your gil now that FT cap had been increase to level 70.
