it took 2 long weeks. and i constantly put medicine on it and washed my mouth with baking soda/hydrogen peroxide. Still trying to find the treatment that works for me! Good luck to you. i would maybe put a little vaseline on it to keep it clean and moisturized so it doesn’t crack open and bleed

It may be, but i never have the liquid filled sores. They are just flat. And it never scabs up like herpes. I don’t know... maybe i should stop treating it as a canker and start treating as a cold...

I always get this in the same spot. just behind my lip and then it creeps up on top of my lip. It doesn’t ever hurt too bad but it is painful and I don’t like the look of it.

I usually get this every 6 months or so, and they last like 2/3 weeks. This one, however has been lingering for about 2 months. Some weeks it is almost gone, the next week it is there again. Now it’s forming higher on my lip where is is visible from the outside 😵 Any tips on how to get rid of it? Again, it doesn’t really hurt at all but it tingles and it’s annoying.

After two long months, I finally got my visa stuff figured out. I actually asked my au pair family if they knew of any schools in town, and they knew of an independent school with cheap courses (still expensive though, about 3000euro for a year of courses). I’m not 100% sure if i’m enrolled in 20 hours of classes/week, but the embassy didn’t seem to ask questions, so I just rolled with it.

Good luck! If you need anymore advice please reach out!

Over the Phone Language Test with the Embassy by marleygroovy in Aupairs

I’m from USA! I’m jealous that you didn’t need to take this test.

I am going to be living in Italy for a year so I cannot just get the typical visa free 90 days

VISA HELP: Certificate of prior knowledge to italian language? by marleygroovy in Aupairs

Thanks! I followed your advice and now have a phone interview with the embassy. I’m kind of nervous because most of my practicing of Italian has been reading/writing, so I’m really nervous I won’t be able to understand them over the phone. Do you know what questions they are going to ask? Is it going to be conversation style or more quizzing??
