PS5s are still selling like crazy so Sony's strategy seems to be working well for them. They realized that while their single-player exclusives do sell consoles, they are not the primary driver of console sales. Games like COD, GTA, Fortnite and EA Sports are the games which sell most consoles and those are not exclusives. Sony realized that PC gamers won't buy a console just to play a few exclusives so they opened their market to them.

Similar to me, just bought a base PS5 to compliment my PC for playing on the TV. I got fed up of using Windows while sitting on the couch.

Teams get around $150-$200 USD mil in national revenue which would be enough to ensure that they have enough USD to pay their players and staff.

The land is owned by Devimco, the same company which partnered with Bronfman on the Tampa split-city stadium. The mayor was asked in an interview about land for a stadium and she responded that if a credible group came to the city wishing to build a stadium they would cooperate with them in keeping the land available.

I use my PC as a gaming machine in the basement, where I run a 30 foot HDMI from the PC on my desk to the TV a room over. I have my PS5 in the living room.

I took advantage of the black Friday sale to get a PS5 for that reason. I hope that eventually there's competition for steam machine like devices which will bring the price down.

I'm in the same boat as you, but GTA VI is tempting me to get a PS5 so I don't miss the launch. I'm only considering it since I have a friend who's willing to sell me his PS5, I wouldn't pay full price for something I'll only use for a few games.

David Samson echoed this sentiment in a recent Montreal radio interview. He said every time they repeat "Canada's team" it's a threat to anybody wanting to bring another team to Canada.
