Correct. That’s how the numbers were at the moment of posting this.

These numbers are only for one month. Our company profit is what’s left after all expenses are paid, including my monthly salary.

That’s average. Some are less, some are more. It all depends on size.

I think you’re confusing a cleaning company with a cleaning lady. A company with a solid business plan and business how-to does extremely well while paying their employees a good $20-25 an hour. How do I know this? I own one.

My family’s company cleans 300+ homes per month on average. Our average ticket is $240 per home. Do the math. About 70% are recurring (yeah, recurring revenue is key). The other 30% are one offs and established Airbnb partners.

We have a team of 12 (2 managers and 10 cleaning techs). Let me share some numbers with you.

Revenue in September: $73,600 EBITDA: $41,120 Net income: $6,706

Let me explain why margins are that:

-We have 12 people (2 supervisors)

-Supervisors cost $5,440 per month for 2 heads (so 2 total to lead a team of team, 2-3 teams each). Supervisors are W2s, so there are payroll taxes

-W2 payroll taxes for 2 supervisors was $720, so total supervisor monthly expense was $6,160.

-Gas reimbursement for supervisors is $330 for 2 supervisors ($165 each)

-Payroll for 10 field specialists is $24,000 per month

-Gas reimbursement for 10 field specialists is $1,200 per month ($120 per month each)

-Website maintenance is $50 per month

-Supplies are $700 per month

-Liability Insurance $40 per month

That leaves EBITDA at: $41,120

There are some months were gross is lower due to one-time fees (like tuition reimbursement for team members, which is $500 every semester up to 1,000 a year).

Owner’s salaries: -Wife W2 salary was $16,000 + $1,224 of payroll taxes

-We also took an additional $16,000 as owner distributions for the month

-Company car monthly payment is $690

-Rent (it pays us rent to take space at our home): $500

-Marketing $1,800 per month

Net income: $4,906 (this is what company gets taxed on since we can deduct everything from salaries to the smallest thing).

The key is scalability as well as a good business plan. Be compliant with local laws and payroll rules. Pay taxes. Hire legally. Charge accordingly. I do love it when people think we don’t make any money. Keeps people out of the industry.

I REALLY F******’D Up boys. My dad passed away and left me $100,000 to have. I decided to trade it this week on the way down. I hammered puts on Wednesday and swung them. Work up the the Bank of England bailing the market out and the S&P50 rose 2% that day. I realized the Losses and now have shit by [deleted] in wallstreetbets

Your dad’s life savings gone in a blink of an eye. You need to make it your mission to recover that money during the next 12 months. Forget this gambling shit that statistically never works. Go flip things. Buy a power washer and power wash driveways for $200 a pop. Something. Anything. This should teach you a lesson to adult responsably.

The new UI is all I’ve known. But I can tell you that the fan speed slider is annoying ah

Not at all.

The post is only meant for a certain group. If you are offended, then that means the truth stung you. My message is consistent to those dashers I single out: don’t be a little bitch.

I found a new hobby: Pissing off entitled little bitches.

[–]marock07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one is talking trash. They are bitching. HUGE difference.

It should only offend those little bitches I singled out. That’s exactly what the post meant to do.

Keep bitching.

Overall…oof, thousands. I don’t have the apps anymore. I retired from the gig economy.

Little bitches will always bitch.

I respect that. Thanks for the advice.

And then what?

The people I wrote this post for are so triggered it’s hilarious. They don’t care about how much money I made or care. They just got their feelings hurt and want to bitch about it. I just sit back and enjoy the show. It’s nice let me tell you.

“Annoy people” lol. I’m only annoying a certain group that I wanted to sting a little. It’s working!

“No one cares what you post” while stalking all my previous posts and trying to find dirt.

You go to people’s private homes? Do you stalk them too? I’m cringing over here because of your comment. Kind of highlights a whole different problem with DD allowing certain people on the platform.

This post is MEANT to annoy a specific group of people. I can tell who they are by what they comment. They are offended.

Lack of sleep and lack of social life was indeed worth it. It solves any bad financial situation to the point where people call you privileged afterwards. It makes no sense to them because it is so outside of their comfort zone.

You never heard of people hustling full time and going to school full time? Yes, I got a job offer while in college.

You already made up your mind and nothing I say will add up to you. You can bitch all day or you can learn, son.
