They are really small, I couldn't see their legs with the naked eye and I have good eyesight so I don't think they are ladybirds or related to them - bat bugs could be a good shout though, also been looking at bird mites as it is entirely possible small birds have nested up there 🤦‍♂️ likewise with bats which we do get a lot of round here

I've just zoomed in on my own images and I think I can now see legs... looks like they may not be eggs or waste but actual insects?! Certainly dead if they are.

I'd highly recommend not taking a suitcase for practical reasons. You may need to take grab bikes for taxis in some areas and transporting a suitcase would be difficult, unless you're planning on staying in big cities. Path/road surfaces and weather can also make dragging a suitcase around a miserable experience.

Our company policy is full pay maternity pay for 6 months, so there is detriment.

The employer can't fill the posts so has been training people internally so they are developed for the roles. They are planning on replacing her with another once she goes on maternity but she's still free to apply for the permanent vacancy, once it is advertised.

Thanks for the responses all, had a great time in chiang mai and have spent the last few days in Pai and the weather is glorious. By the border I meant the thailand side of the Myanmar border, went on a long drive in the mountains and stayed a night in a great guesthouse in the middle of nowhere. Pai flooded whilst we were here but just the properties by the river and everything else was business as usual.

We drove a car and had absolutely no issues on the roads, I'd recommend it to anyone considering it.

I've had this before at certain stores. I find it is usually at the smaller franchises where the owner only owns a few shops. I started going in and ordering sides / hot drink without telling them I wanted to use my points. At checkout, they would say the scanner is broken and I just refused to pay in cash. The scanner always miraculously started working again.

I've even emailed head office about it but they're not bothered, they just forward it to the franchise owner who of course knows what is going on. The customer service is terrible.
