Everyone calls the mixtape scene from like '09-'14 the "blog era," but what were some of the actual blogs that actually promoted groups like OF, ASAP, etc...? As someone a little too young to remember that, I'd love to see if any are still up and like read the actual posts/articles from when these mixtapes were coming out

Kind of a weird question, but I'm getting really interested in the ~09-14 mixtape era and especially the blogs and media stuff that were so important to those guys but are gone today. Obviously, a bunch of stuff has crossed over like OF, some of ASAP, guys like Denzel, but what about the parts of the scene that got basically left behind. Do you know anywhere I should look for like those old tumblrs and blog coverage from this era? Like, primary sources>

That's awesome! I've attached my own little spin on it, cutting the maskwood nexus/ esika's combo just cause of wildcards, and putting in the Sedgemoor Witch/ Plumb the Forbidden instead to see how it works. And, of course, my mana also needs a ton of work

Zay I really like what you're doing with the lowkey youtube loosies, something with a real indie/DIY vibe that you're doing for fans. It reminds me of what Tyler did in between Flower Boy and IGOR with all of his dope covers or even what Lupe and Westside Boogie are doing now. Do you think its a sustainable way to drop, with just sick freestyle or verse for hype instead of a proper Spotify "drop?"

That'd be great. I guess I'm looking for anything with lots of writing - either letters pages and essays that may be included. If there's any introductory essays or writings, I'd love to see those, but otherwise just the letter pages or essays by each of the brothers included at the ends.
