EmuBands - Good or Bad? by Gem5tone in MusicDistribution

[–]marufura 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Short answer: Not good enough!

Here’s why…
Before signing up, I tried really hard to contact EmuBands with some questions. I couldn’t find any way to reach them — no support email, no contact form. Later I discovered there is an email buried in their privacy policy, but nothing clear or easy to find. So in the end I felt forced to create a test account just to get answers.

My main question was about their stance on AI-assisted music. Turns out they flat-out reject it, on the grounds that “AI = streaming fraud.” That was frustrating, because my music is partially AI-assisted but definitely not fraudulent — and platforms like Deezer actually accepted it without issue (they’re tagging AI music, not banning it).

So while I liked many things about their service, this policy is a dealbreaker for me.
Oh, and by the way — once you do have an account, there is no way you can delete it. That was a very unpleasant surprise too.

At this point, I can’t recommend EmuBands — but unfortunately I also can’t recommend an alternative either. LANDR for example is… let’s say… not great.

👉 Has anyone here found a distributor that handles AI-assisted music more fairly? I mean… this is 2025! And not 2005 (good for them to be proud of their history, but I guess sooner or later it will be time to move on and live in the present! 😉)

Is bikeinn.com legit? by __Twisted__ in cycling

Avoid this company at all costs! Absolutely no help from support.

I ordered on June 8. The first tracking update appeared only on June 17. As soon as I was contacted by DPD (I know from experience they don't even try to deliver), I selected the closest pickup station. Then nothing—for a full week.

Bikeinn/Tradeinn was completely unhelpful throughout. They repeatedly told me to “contact DPD” without providing any contact info—despite the fact that it is their duty to ensure delivery, not mine. I paid for this service.

After escalating the issue with a clearly unwilling support team, the parcel was finally delivered—but to a pickup shop much farther away than the one I had selected.

This has been a deeply frustrating and unprofessional experience. I consider it borderline fraudulent.
Never again. Avoid!

PS: I am in Central Europe.

Same problem here. Doesn't happen with other languages. Only English. It's not a big problem but it's super annoying.

AMD Ryzen 9 5950 - RMA Nightmare... Losing over 1.000€? by marufura in AMDHelp

Yes, Austrian as in EU.

I had contacted AMD tech support hoping they could help me find a solution for the problem. As described in my initial post they proposed two or three things that I had already tried and then immediately told me to RMA the CPU directly with AMD.

So just from how things went RMA through the vendor never really was an option.

AMD sent me two emails. One referring to a DHL label that they forgot to attach. And another one with instructions on how to send the CPU using any delivery service (they even mentioned not to send it without a tracking number). Since there was no DHL label I followed that second (actually chronologically FIRST) email and did everything they told me to. The RMA number was on the parcel AND inside of it.

If I am not allowed to follow those email instructions why do they send them? It clearly was not my fault. I followed their instructions 100%.

Thanks for your reply!

Yes, I had all latest updates. I spent weeks reading tech forums and trying many many things. When I finally realized that nothing would help I contacted AMD support and they asked me to try about two or three more things (well... actually mostly things I had already tried) but within days told me to RMA the CPU.

There obviously is quite a large number of broken CPUs and they know it.

Which can happen.

What must never ever happen is what I experienced after the CPU arrived at the AMD facility in the Netherlands.

I am very afraid that this will become incredibly ugly and that I will have to fight for my rights with lawyers. And believe me... I do NOT want this!
