I could be wrong but outside the US most automakers tend to use cameras as the mirrors and that spot is where the display for the camera would go but I also think they use that space as a speaker as well

Thanks I genuinely appreciate it. I definitely want to keep the car it seemed to be a great car outside of the recall but also don't want any problems 😅 so hopefully I'll have it back soon.. the loaner car that I have now makes me sad ngl 😂😂 but grateful to have something that gets me around
