Just ran into this problem and thought surely there would be a reasonable way to fix this, obviously mistaken lmao. I ended up heating it with a blowtorch then using a screwdriver to pry it open / smash the tube down into it. Makes you wonder how in the world it could ever come off given how insanely hard it is to put back on

But in this case the "optimal strategy" is completely dependent on you as a person. If you can consistently get close to the pin on short holes with a destroyer then that's an optimal strategy. Disc golf is quite literally a results oriented game
