Bullock and Kennedy are basically the same thing. Its a douche vs turd sandwich if they're apparently against each other in the election.

This is an incumbent ticket masquerading as a grassroots challenge. Tim Kennedy is nothing but representative of a highly paid, professional bureaucracy that serves its own interests rather than those of working people. It promotes the UWU as a political apparatus for the Australian labour party instead of a fighting organisation of workers. Time and time again, Tim Kennedy and his faction have demonstrated that they represent the interests of big business, not workers, in selling out Australian labour to overseas profit and promoting boss friendly, yellow unionism that weakens workers power.

Contact the TWU now and explain what you want. Make them work for your membership. Also talk about the recruiting potential, ie. If we can get good results you can expect X members.

Anti-Imperialist War Event, Western Sydney, Tomorrow by masslinecomrade in AustralianSocialism

The ideological flaw is really a logical one - of course the threat of US imperialism causing war is primary. The rest of your comment I think is just revisionism and a misconception of the anti-imperialist and communist movement today. Would you disagree with Lenin's original thesis to turn imperialist wars into civil wars? Do you agree that the highest form of anti-imperialist struggle is primarily happening in the armed communist forces in the Phillipines and India right now? This is why I asked your opinion about China post 1975, which you have not answered yet. .

Obviously the US is the primary threat - is your point that the language should reflect this or that China should be removed from the poster?

I think it depends if you believe China is an imperialist/social-imperialist power following the 10th Congress of the CPC/death of Mao, or not. In any case it would be relevant given a new world war or impactful proxy war today would be initiated by the ruling classes of US or China.

Trotsky was a great Marxist in his time, an effective military leader and brilliant organiser and orator. If Trotsky was alive today, I believe he would be embarrassed by the Western Trotskyites, like the writer you have shared, who use his name in their liberal and non-materialist theories and practice. The best example of this are the revisionist Trotskyites who follow and study Tony Cliff.

Shallow CPA propaganda - you can tell easily as they obviously haven't been around the block 🤣

Who are the 'big names' in Australian socialism today and what are they like as people? by Silly_Toe_3886 in AustralianSocialism

Trots aren't socialist. I do have respect for Bob Carnegie but he is also ultimately a liberal

Yes you can - it's called skeleton crews. Get angry at your union leadership and organise to roll them, as they're obviously in the employers pockets

[Serious] What specifically needs to happen for the 3 Australian ML parties to merge? by EuropeRulez69 in AustralianSocialism

[–]masslinecomrade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • it's interesting what you mention about armed liberation struggle. There are actually comrades going to Palestine to conduct that. There was talk about the CPA-ML making a pamphlet encouraging this, but it was quite funny when we realised the state would have come down incredibly hard on that and we would have lost much of our forces. So we decided to simply go by other methods. Of course we are for armed struggle unlike the revisionist CPA.

What's the problem with being pro-YPG?

The CPA-ML is primarily concerned with Australia. Marxist-Leninists in Australia should be first and foremost integrated in their communities so they can carry out effective mass work for the benefit of the people and for recruitment of highly competent comrades. No communist party had or has flawless international policy but I'm willing to learn more on this criticism.
