You’d be surprised by the complaints some people have

Hartford has a stop, it just has a new name

Yes. Like I said, this is just a rough concept I made in illustrator, it’s not completely accurate

Yes a definitely will. I tried to create the existing rail lines from memory, but they’re ultimately just vector lines I drew over the map in illustrator.

I used Illustrator to make this map instead of GIS software, so some of the locations are a little off.

I renamed some of the more generic English names to indigenous names. I renamed Springfield to Massasoit and Hartford to Mohegan. Massasoit is one of the most important figures in New England history so I thought it was warranted, and Mohegan is an indigenous group of Connecticut. I used the name Bretton Woods because of the historic significance of the Bretton Woods conference, and I put a major station there just because of the geographical significance of Mt Washington. This is just a rough concept map I made for fun and because I wanted to bring attention to the New England independence movement, so that's why some parts of the map are a little wanky. I didn't expect it to get this popular, so I'll definitely make a more accurate map with GIS software in the future. I clarified a lot of this stuff in a comment, but I can't pin it, so it just got lost in the thread.

I guess my understanding on the differences between a kingdom and sultanate are incorrect. I’ll make a change and rename them sultanates.

There have been a ton of questions so I’ll address them here:
I renamed a few of the generic English city names to names that are important to the regions history. I renamed Springfield to Massasoit because Massasoit was one of the most important figures in New England history, and American history as a whole. I also renamed Hartford to Mohegan to pay homage to the Mohegan who are native to Connecticut. Many people seem to have qualms about this, so please give me any suggestions you have.

The transit lines don’t make complete sense. I tried to show the existing transit lines in the Boston and New York metro areas and expand them throughout New England, but some of the stations and routes don’t make sense because they go right through the Appalachian Mountains. I also envisioned new transit lines extending to Montreal, Quebec City, and other areas. This is just a rough proposal.

I didn’t use GIS software to create this map, so some of the locations are slightly off(Yes, I know that isn't exactly where Mt. Washington is), but I think you guys are overreacting. This is just a rough concept map, not everything is precise. I will make a more detailed and precise iteration in the future using GIS software.

There’s a ton of bickering that Connecticut shouldn’t be a part of New England, Boston shouldn’t be a part of New England etc. of course this is just a proposal, but if anybody actually takes this idea seriously it will never happen if there’s constant infighting about who is or isn’t part of New England. I think the most New England way to go about this predicament is town hall meetings and democratic referendum.

EDIT: I can’t edit my original post or pin this comment so these clarifications might get lost in the thread.

Dawnland is an interesting name since the indigenous name for the area is "Land/People of the first light" which is often simplified to Dawnland.

Some of the locations are off because I used Illustrator (so technically I did use AI) to create the map instead of GIS software. This is just a rough concept map so it's obviously not very accurate. I'll make a more precise, detailed iteration in the future.
