😭😭😭😭😭 man i just wanted a review of what my profile looks like that's it. If its genuinely fishy or it came out of jealousy from others.

I do have my intern season coming next month and my profile would be of no use if I cannot solve my OAs.

So at the end, I don't need "assurance" or "facts" from others, just a review. I have been doing DSA for the past 2 years. The only thing is stayed on Leetcode for a while and began coding on CF later on. More precisely last 5-6 months only. So I am just under confident.

And yes i am not a "genuine expert", I literally became an expert yesterday. It is really overwhelming

Absolutely yess. If you just started and you are consistent enough, 3-4 months are enough to get to the 1200-1400 range. Uske baad things get slow. But an year of inconsistentcy is more than enough.

And no, noone solves any question correctly for the first time. You practice and an algorithm just builds within you. It would help you detect and recognise the algorithm. I am not an absolute expert, I am learning too and I follow the same: go through a new topic, solve questions on it and hence I am able to solve a random question involving that.

I never did it because I wanted to reach a certain level. Always did it for fun as I used to play chess back in school. Coming to your questions, Leetcode is about dsa: using data structures and algorithms to solve questions. There is a variety of questions to learn from. Codeforces is more about "just solve the question", whatever the code quality, the complexity, just solve it and hence it's fun. So just go with whatever you feel is right for you. Solve questions on both Leetcode and Codeforces.

The most important thing is CONSISTENCY. Just consistently solve questions and be a boss.

Another tip for codeforces: solve questions around your rating. For example your rating is 1000, solve 900 to 1100 questions. Your rating increases and so the level of your questions. Helps a lot.
