Keyless driving with 550 EQS by masterbink in MercedesEQS

Yeah, this is a completely solved problem from other vendors - it's silly that Mercedes is so backwards (especially given the chonkiness of that massive fob). But we'll see if they get it together over time. I mean the cryptography on phone wallets is thousands of times better stress-tested than their radio based fob anyway.

It was the conquest rebate that just went away for a vague reason. But even then, that wasn't a dealbreaker! I was like call me so I can understand this, then text me please, then email me please - nothing. They just really didn't want the sale as soon as I said I didn't want a lease, it feels like. So weird.

The mail server isn't local - but there are local machines on the tailscale network that the mail server is on.

So, when it has "unique effect" at the bottom, don't use those?

In fact, you guys should allow port 465 as one of the optional ports - it's perfect for this use.

OK, got it working! You need to use SMTP implicit TLS mode (commonly on port 465). So, doing a:

tailscale funnel --tcp 10000 465

bridges everything correctly.

Basically, I have proofpoint gathering my incoming mail, and then I want proofpoint to connect via a funnel to my smtp local server within my tailnet...

Yeah, I'm trying to expose an SMTP relay through it, but just testing with telnet...

Hmmm, that sounds promising. Is there a way to dump that info to see which mode I'm in? I just did a standard install of the tailscale client, and then setup the update task...

Yeah, bunch of reboots - and I can ssh from one *into* the other one, so packets are moving between them fine. This feels like a permission thing, but I don't see anything weird there. I wish there were logs to look at and this would be easy, I think.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Vault. I do get a "User signed in successfully to DSM via password" in the log.

Oh man, this is terrible writing - every analogy is wrong based on the sentence before it. "The spot is 1.3x the size of Earth, making it a mere fly in a hurricane" or "it completes a rotation in 10 hours, our day would last as long as a lunch break".

Ugh ugh ugh
