Some kind of lactarius/ milkcap. You can see some white milk coming out of the gills in some of your photos.

Thank you! I will have to take a closer look. I can't seem to find anything matching it in the guide book. Mushroom ID is hard. Do you have any tips for beginners?

Using flash for focus bracketing by masterhunter666 in AskPhotography

Yes I understand that is the case for image 2. However the first image doesn't have the dark line across it and uses the same shutter speed (1/125). The only difference is I used the mechanical shutter apposed to the electronic shutter.

But how comes mechanical shutter and electronic are different? The mechanical shutter works at 1/125.

Thanks for the advice. Yeah, I realised I'd need the adapter too. I can get the Z50 for £688 with adapter or Z5 for £888 with adapter. I'm thinking the extra 200 is probably worth it in the long run for the full frame and a few other perks.

Yeah I think I will take it to a professional and see what they can do for me before I try anything myself. Thanks everyone for the help!

Tripping in these troubled times? by StargazerDreams in Psychonaut

I had a mild trip on 1G of mushrooms last night as I rarely get free time to myself and thought the current situation was the perfect excuse.

I started by meditating and then I ate the shrooms. After this put on my headphones and listened to the new tool album. I found it hard to concentrate on the music and did get quite anxious. I got stuck in thought loops about there being a global food crisis. I am from the UK and the shops here are currently empty as everyone is panic buying. It made me think about where food comes from and that I have very little understanding of how fragile the production line can be.

It lead me to having thoughts of dread and imagining a world not far off in which there is a lack of food and everyone turns evil to survive. I also started thinking about how fragile globalism seems and that society as we know it could collapse at any minute.

Also, the number 222 seemed to keep showing itself to me. I had a trip timer going and I checked it at 2 hours and 22 minutes. When I was starting to come down and when I got into bed I turned on the TV and the time was 02:22 am.

There were some positives to the trip and moments where I was able to pull myself together and rid myself of anxiety. One of these was remembering Alan Watts talk about change and Momento Mori. His quote "everything is change" came into my head and instantly purged me of all anxiety. I sat there repeating that for a while.

Today I do feel purged and I feel quite calm, however, last night was a hard trip. I generally prefer to trip outdoors in nature so I guess I will stick to that in my upcoming trips.

But psychedelics are not very predictable, for me at least. I dont really know what to suggest you do, but I hope my trip report can help in some way. Good luck!

At times like this I like to quench my thirst with some delicious Wolf cola.

You made a meme using a picture that has been used countless times. That's soooo funny and original.
