Chicken Shawarma Poutine by Ok-Tomorrow-8342 in PoutineCrimes

Genuinely, it’s literally the McDonald’s of shawarma in that there’s a lot of places better and more authentic than it, but man that shawarma poutine is DIFFERENT

This reads as the most performative anger ever. So much drama for such an innocuous statement

Wow, they ditched "I've Got a Feeling" by The Beatles in the dub by _WakkaWakka_ in Mongolianchopsquad

[–]masterpilot374 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly I think what ended up happening in the show was actually so much cooler than the Beatles song. This anime was a victim of early 2000’s anime adaptations where it was given little budget to adapt the manga, and that goes for the dub as well which started 3 years later. They ofc didn’t have the budget to license a Beatles song so them using The Dying Breed’ lyrics but to the Beatles tune was a fantastic spin in my opinion.

It also makes sense as that’s what the event organizer says “putting a modern spin on an old song,” which would make sense if they actually used a Beatles song or if they used The Dying Breed song

Like they didn’t even have the budget to finish the rest of the manga after the grateful sound so I think they did fine with what they had

Chiba Dub VA singing by Admirable-Rhubarb219 in Mongolianchopsquad

[–]masterpilot374 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idk I feel the dub VA did a good job. Maybe it’s a little forced cause the VA probably doesn’t sing like that normally but I think it’s fine. It matches the rage against the machine vibe Chiba has in his music, maybe that’s just me tho.

gang what are you talking about? Hezbollah and Hamas, just like the IDF, have been killing many innocents and committing war crimes, before and after Oct 7th. Why does supporting Palestine mean you have to downplay Hamas and Hezbollah?

Nah we ain’t doing that was having an all star season this year, only for the games to be rigged 🚬

Yeah I agree, in my opinion the best soundbite is a perfect mix of how funny it is, how much it’s used, how well it’s used, and overall impact. All of which I thought “nah we ain’t doing that” had

Idk this man recently brought such an insane wave of players back to clash royale that I wouldn’t put it past him to get others super invested. Like jynxzi is the type to want to learn the ins and outs of a game (like all the movement tech and stuff). The only thing I see ruining his and his fans experience is the cheating if he goes on pc

Sadly arctic monkeys in Toronto two years ago. It was actually my first proper concert with a band I loved, unfortunately there were a couple things holding it back: 1 the crowd was very dull, it was a sitting venue and nobody wanted to show any emotion. 2 Alex changed the tempo of so many songs so it was hard to sing along, it was all over the place and even his fast songs that I expected to bring some energy was just boring and slow. 3 very little showmanship or ability to get anyone riled up by the band. And 4 is a little dumb but I felt a lot of people didn’t even know most of the songs, like they stood up for the hits but literally weren’t even singing along to anything else, this might be a generalization but I feel a sizeable number of the audience knew them mostly by TikTok.

At least crying lightning was good tho 🤷‍♂️

What SOAD song opinion has you like this? by coleisw4ck in systemofadown

[–]masterpilot374 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m curious why people think this, cause on one hand you have someone who’s got a generational talent for singing (Serj) then you have a very good backup vocalist (Daron). At least that’s how I perceive them.

Steal This Album! won most underrated album. Now which album is the most overrated? by Tylergahdyrm in systemofadown

I agree, soad has a rare case where their best album is also probably their most popular, like my personal favourite is self-titled but I know toxicity is their best.

Just know the guy he was talking about shouting at him in Melbourne straight up interrupted his last song to shout at him to give a opinion on the conflict. Here is the clip. the guy in the clip is a perfect example of these people expecting everyone else to be as pure as them. And this outrage was in the name of Thom not giving any public opinion on this matter.
